After training at the Birmingham and Bournemouth Schools of Art in fine art and environmental design, he began his career as a designer/artist in 1972. While working as a designer with two notable companies of the time, Zoran had his first big break with a one-man show at the Midton Gallery, central London, followed by a show at the October Gallery, London WC2 at the same time as the famed author/artist William Burrows. He has since exhibited in France, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, the Middle East, USA and The United Kingdom. Over 300 of his paintings are in public and private collections around the world. Zoran has worked with diverse people such as Andy Warhol during his Art School Days and later the author Erick Von Daniken, has painted for the Saudi Royals, and for the ordinary flower seller lady down the street. “All human beings have an aesthetic mind, if you wake it up, the person is better for it.” “My purpose is to always invoke the fact that there is a future, that art can and is the future, that it can be bright and optimistic.” “I have always felt that the realms of space are the inevitable future of mankind. Creative imagination is very important because man needs both hope and dreams, and within each of us is a search and desire for something much higher.” Contact Zoran on zoran@zoranart.com or visit his website www.zoranart.com Zoran lives in Safety Harbor, Florida with his wife Betty Jean. |
