ZARD TOMPKINS |
|
Zard entered the world in Wurtzburg, Germany, 1964. In the early phase of development Zard relocated several times, maintaining her survival as an “Army brat.” She has been classically trained in piano, woodwinds, brass, and percussive instruments. Loving inspiration emanated from family and mentors. Zard’s career work in both the horticulture and exporting industries provided her with extensive travel experiences as well as several years of residency in the Caribbean. The palette and subject matter of Zard’s creations flourished from such exposure and led toward further experimentation with the use of various mediums; they include, but are not limited to, paintings sculptures, murals, commercial arts, lyrical compositions, and audio/video productions. Zard’s work can be found and appreciated throughout the Americas, Europe and the Caribbean. Currently inhabiting Safety Harbor, Florida, Zard is actively pursuing three degrees in Design, Architecture, and Multi-media Production. Notwithstanding, Zard continues to exhibit her works while laboring as a freelance designer/artist. |
