My initial sculptures were in the form of traditional media in cast bronze, welded-steel, stone and wood carvings, which have been the backbone of most sculptors. However, presently my sculptures have taken an exciting new direction with the use of ready-made and found objects. Here serendipity has played a major role, coupled with a little imagination and with persistence the results have been very rewarding. I consider ready-made objects scattered around the world as abandoned orphans desperately in need of my attention, and seeking a home to belong. |
