Janusz Kreft is a Polish-born artist and painter who was exposed to the great artist in his early childhood, first through the regional and ethnic Kaszuby culture which later, lead him to his own artistic search. To master the art of painting, he copied the best masters: Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Renoir along with the finest Polish painters such as Malczewski and Wyczolkowski. Janusz Kreft is an artist of immense power, having exhibited his works all over Europe, in private galleries, churches and major exhibits, including Beethoven House in Bonn, Germany. But he does not limit himself to regular portrait or frame painting. He reaches out and beyond this form, painting huge murals of 10 to 16 sq. ft. in size. To name a few he completed a fresco in the Gregory Syrian Church in Tampa; Renaissance arch style ceiling in Lansbrook in Palm Harbor; Creation of Adam and Eve styled after Michelangelo (Largo); French Garden scene in Sarasota; Skyway Cloud (ceiling composition) in Davis Island; French landscape, a mural, in Apollo Beach and numerous others.
He painted many portraits in oil and watercolors. This is his 10th exhibition of his artistic career.
