CHI COOK |
|
Chi Cook painted in watercolor for 28 years until she discovered the joy of painting with oil pigments. Since then, she had studied with several famous oil masters such as David Leffel and Jeff Legg. She enjoys painting still life, landscape and portraits. Chi graduated from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France with a Master's degree in literature and languages. She attributed her love for art to the many summers spent in the Louvre. Chi has won several awards for her art work and continues to travel and paint in the US and in France.
Artist's statement: There is a true passion whenever I paint. I can always feel the strong emotions created by my subjects, whether that is a beautiful object, an inspiring scenery, a person or a pet. There is so much beauty in Nature, it is a Joy to translate it on canvas.
